Football is gaining traction across eastern europe. OWSA has partnered with the Sarajevo Spartans to help develop the sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This partnership creates an awesome opportunity for cultures to come together while bringing a new sport to the region. This is the heart of what One World Sports Association is all about. Making connections and building relationships through sports. One World Sports Association is seeking like-minded athletes who want to play and/or coach in a competitive environment in this region of Europe. One World Sports Association has short-term and long-term opportunities available.

As the world's most popular sport, soccer can easily bring people of all backgrounds together. Through One World Sports Association, you can develop personal relationships with people from all over the world through playing or coaching soccer. Whether it be through short trips (1-2 weeks) in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America or extended exchange programs in the Balkans (3 months - 1 year), you can develop a more accurate world-perspective through the sport you love.

Biciklisticki Maraton Bihac - Srebrenica
There are so many aspects about cycling that contribute to the huge growth of this sport, but most would probably agree that the #1 reason has to do with long rides with friends. One World Sports Association can connect you with cyclists from different cultures and religions across the world for one-day or multi-day rides. Of course, the views are amazing, but most importantly, you will have the opportunity to befriend people from different backgrounds and learn to better appreciate our differences and similarities.
Ski the Balkans
Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
At the site of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo is where One World Sports Association organizes annual ski/snowboard camps for youth. Join us as an instructor or a camper and enjoy a familiar sport with a Bosnian twist. These camps run through the month of January. Other times in the winter could be possible depending on availability.

Basketball/Volleyball
East Africa
In 2019 One World Sports Association began working with a community in East Africa to foster relationship-building opportunities through sports. Our One World team has partnered with members of the local community to began to build a basketball/volleyball court. The One World team living in the community will have opportunities to use the court as a cross-cultural classroom to teach valuable life lessons and leadership skills through sports. One World Sports is seeking to raise $38,000 to complete the costs to construct the court. Please consider giving today.
Casa Hogar
Matamoros Mexico
During most summers the One World team heads south of the Texas border to Casa Hogar Children’s Home. The campus is located just about 15 miles west of the culturally-rich city of Matamoros, Mexico. The One World team holds week-long soccer clinics and recreation activities with the kids. This is one of our favorites!!!
